Please submit your artwork to us electronically whenever possible.

We can accept files created in FreeHand and PageMaker for either MAC or PC, but please be aware that these file formats may require extra time for production and you may be charged for additional prepress time.

We can accept PDFs of any program as long as they are created correctly.  Instructions are located here.

  • Always provide hard copy, especially when additional typesetting is required.  A faxed copy is sufficient when submitting files electronically.  If possible, include a low resolution PDF file of your artwork in your compressed file for electronic transfer.
  • When submitting files electronically, use a self-extracting archive or compression utility such as WinZip or Stuffit and include all of the font and support files in your compressed file.  Using a compression utility to create a single "zipped or stuffed" file helps to ensure that all of the support files associated with the job are included in the submission and reduces the total size of the e-mail.
  • Please e-mail your artwork to: Artwork@loveenvelopes.com.  Do not e-mail artwork to your customer service or sales rep, this may cause delays, and could cause a corruption of the artwork files.
  • Be sure to enclose all support files (fonts and graphic files)
  • Set up colors as spot colors rather than CMYK unless plans have been made with your sales representative to run the job 4-color process.
  • When designing your envelope, take into consideration that envelope converting equipment has a +/- 1/16" variance during folding.
  • Allow minimum of ½" bleed to achieve desired results.
  • When supplying electronic files for output, please be aware that we can only make corrections if we have a license for all fonts used in your file.
